Feedback

Don,
First off I would like to say thank you for sharing all of your knowledge with us! It was a wonderful class and I learned a ton!
I really walked out of there realizing that studio lighting is actually something I can do. You are a very generous teacher and
I really loved the class! You made so many light bulbs turn on for me and that is exactly what I needed!

Thank you for everything.

Don,
Your portrait lighting class was great. Your willingness to share your lighting and photography knowledge and laid back
teaching style was so helpful to me. I truly "saw the light". The hands-on part of the class is what really made everything click.
Plus we had a lot of fun too! I left the class with more confidence that I could go back to the studio and do it on my own. I would
recommend your program to anyone starting out with studio lighting, right down to the experienced pro.
Thank you again for such a wonderful experience.

Be well,

Don,
What a great experience! I was able to finally see light in a way that I hadn't seen it before. Your knowledge of the subject and
ability to convey that in a classroom setting is wonderful, with a guiding spirit rather than intimidating instructor. I never felt any hesitation to try something new or to ask questions. It was a great class and I would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking more experience with lighting.

Cheers,

Programs

In The Beginning - (2-4 hour program)

Discover light and ways to enhance your ability to "see". We begin with a classic lesson to awaken your eyes, then progress to other
object lessons on seeing. Once the photographer can "see", light is applied to the human face. Classic portrait lighting patterns are investigated as well as their application throughout art history. Light modifiers and their characteristics are examined so the student has a better understanding of lighting equipment and can make educated lighting decisions.
